The “PKU NSE Undergraduate Experimental Class” (the “Justin Yifu Lin Class”) is jointly established by the School of Economics and the Institute of New Structural Economics (INSE) at Peking University, with Professor Justin Yifu Lin, Dean of INSE, serving as the chief professor. Integrating the strong teaching and research resources of both institutions, the program provides a distinguished platform for academic training and a rigorous intellectual environment.

The program admits students through a selective admission process open to first-year undergraduates. It is dedicated to cultivating exceptional, innovation-driven scholars with a solid grounding in New Structural Economics and strong analytical capabilities, preparing them to address emerging economic challenges, generate new insights from China's development experience, and advance new directions in global economic scholarship.
