Qin Geng holds a Ph.D. in Management (International Affairs and Global Governance) from Zhejiang University, an M.Sc. in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, and an LL.B. in International Politics from Zhejiang University, and has been a visiting scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on biodiversity policy, global climate finance, and the global governance of Digital Sequence Information (DSI) on genetic resources. He has published in SSCI-indexed journals such as Global Policy and serves as a reviewer for Global Governance. Previously, he worked at the head office of China Merchants Bank and at China Merchants Fund, where he was involved in asset management, wealth management, credit approval, investment banking, and institutional business, gaining practical experience in PPP projects and asset securitization. Drawing on the New Structural Finance framework, he is committed to designing actionable financial solutions to foster deep integration between industry and finance.
