Nowak Ph.D.–Professor, Rector of University of Warsaw, former Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw for Research and Liaison and Director of the Centre for Europe; President of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland. Member of editing boards of many prestigious science periodicals worldwide. Editor-in-Chief of many international Journals of Economics and Finance. Main research interests: International Economics, Finance, Banking, Economic Integration of Europe, Economic Analysis of the European Union, New Structural Economics. Author and co-author of over 250 papers and books published both in Poland and abroad. Author of numerous publications on these topics. Visiting professor and lecturer at many universities worldwide: USA, China, South Korea, England, France, Russia, Germany. Studied in Poland, USA-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and American University in Washington DC, England – University of Exeter, Germany – Free University Berlin,  Belgium – RUCA Antwerp. External reviewer of Ph.D. Programs and Ph.D. dissertations at Cambridge University, Grenoble Business School and University of Zululand in South Africa.  Member of many supervisory boards in national and international companies.  Member of The National Council of Development of the President of Poland.
