Professor David Lagakos is an Associate Professor of economics at Boston University. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, lead academic for the International Growth Centre's Ghana program, and an editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics. His main research fields are macroeconomics and economic development. His research has been published in top economics journals such as American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Monetary Economics and AEJ: Macro. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics from UCLA in 2008.
